Sharon Faye Shoemaker, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS. She was born September 5, 1948, in Hutchinson, KS to Ernest and Virgie (Ratzlaff) Enns.
Sharon graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1966 and worked as a claims coordinator in the medical field. Sharon was a member of Christ Bible Church in Nickerson, KS for over 16 years. She loved being with her kids and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and went to weekly bible studies with friends.
Sharon is preceded by her parents; a son, Steven Starks; two brothers, Jim and Lee Enns; one sister, Delores Enns; and one nephew, Donnie Cogzill.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Tracy) Cooper; a brother, Jerald (Diana) Enns; a sister, Lois Bowers; a daughter-in-law, Susan (Mark) Colson; two grandchildren, Sutton (Sarah) Starks and Sully (Melissa) Starks; two great grandchildren, Harlee and Harper Starks and several nieces and nephews.
