JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 6:30a.m. Friday near Holton, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The incident involved a driver of a brown Peterbilt semi pulling a grain hauler and the driver of a black GMC Denali.
The incident is believed to have started on U.S. Highway 75 north of Holton and continued thru the City of Holton, according to Morse.
It is believed that multiple shots were fired during the incident. Investigators were questioning the driver who were involved.
