Alice Dawn Huebert, 65, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born in Topeka, Kansas to James Francis Bailey and Mary (Smith) Bailey. She was raised in El Dorado, Kansas where she attended schools and was a El Dorado High School graduate. After graduation she attended Mt. Vernon Bible School.  Alice had a gift and love for helping others which she did professionally as a Dietary Assistant and Cook at hospitals and schools. 

Alice enjoyed life and exploring with her family. These family trips included amusement parks (especially roller coasters), zoos, aquariums, botanicas and flowers in the midwest and wherever they traveled. She also loved crafts with a favorite being crocheting which she continued to the last. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles of all sorts even up to the 2,000 pieces.

Alice is survived by the love of her life, husband Rodney Huebert, daughters Christina Means (Christopher), Amy Wells (Russ) and son Jeremy Huebert; grandchildren Jacob, Caleb, Abigail, Hannah, Gabriel, Sarah, Peyton, Cammie and Ella; brothers John Bailey and Jimmy Enriquez; father-in-law John Huebert, brother-in-law Jeff Huebert and sister-in-law Janelle Huebert.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Bailey, sisters Robin Bourne, Laura "Jamie" Hammond, Fern Bailey and an infant sister, and mother-in-law VaRena Huebert.

Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 18, at the Sedgwick Christian Church, 514 N. Franklin, Sedgwick, Kansas.

Memorials may be designated to the Sedgwick Christian Church or the American Diabetes Association.
