OSAGE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.
Just after 8:30a.m. Friday, sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 5700 block of West 117th Street regarding suspicious activity, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.
During the investigation, deputies took two suspects into custody after illegal narcotics were located. Both were transported to the Osage County Jail Facility.
Amanda N. Perez, 36, of Topeka is being held on requested charges of Distribution of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Interference with law enforcement. Joy S. Watson, 48, of Topeka, is jailed on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Interference with law enforcement.
