KANSAS CITY —Friends of a family who lost a 1-year-old girl in a tragic weekend accident have established a fundraiser to help them.

Harper Wren died in an accident just before 9 a.m., Saturday in Ray County, approximately 45 minutes east of Kansas City.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an eastbound Burlington Northern train struck the 1-year-old girl who was stationary on railroad tracks at Route J and Elm Street in the city of Hardin. She was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported fo Forensic Medial.
Authorities have released no additional details.
