⚾ McPherson dominates, Little River falls in area recap

FINAL: McPherson 8, Larned/La Crosse 3
SALINA, Kan. — No. 3 McPherson continued it's postseason run with an 8-3 win over No. 6 Larned/La Crosse on Thursday afternoon at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina.

The Bullpups dominated this one, out hitting the Indians, 11-2. The only miscue McPherson had was defensively, committing four errors in the game.

Teegan Haines finished 3-for-3 at the plate with a home run, triple and 2 RBI. Hunter Alvord had a 2-for-4 day at the plate with a double and an RBI, while Jaytin Gumm finished 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

FINAL: Pittsburg-St. Mary's Colgan 12, Little River 5
GREAT BEND, Kan. — No. 1 Little River saw it's season come to a close with a first round loss to No. 8 Pittsburg-St. Mary's Colgan, 12-5 on Thursday afternoon at the Great Bend Sports Complex.

Logan Renken led the Little River offense, going 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Grant Stephens also added a pair of RBI in the loss. The Redskins end their season with a 20-2 record.
