
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The number of reported active COVID cases in Reno County continues to fall quickly.
As of Monday morning the number of active cases stood at 718 which is down from the 1,419 cases December 31.
The pace of the overall number of cases is slowing as well, as the case count has increased by 215 since the first of the month. The total number of cases is now 17,351. Unfortunately, the number of fatalities from COVID increased by five in the past week to 215.
The vaccination rate for the county now stands at 53.79% or 33,589 county residents.
