BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler City Council approved the 2022 budget and will hold a public hearing on the numbers August 12.
The budget for the year totals $1,787,990 on total taxes levied of $358,721.
With that the city will stay at the revenue neutral mark of 49.318 mills.
The budget increases came in the form of a $4,000 increase in employee benefits and a $103,000 increase in the general fund. There was also a small increase in the budget for the library.
The August public hearing is at 7 p.m. at the Buhler City offices.
