SEDGWICK COUNTY —Brian Shrout, 56, of Wichita, was indicted on one count of failure to register as a sex offender, according to the United State's Attorney.
Shrout was convicted of a sex crime involving a 2-year-old victim that occurred in 1993, according to the Missouri sex offender registry. The registry indicates he is living in Eldorado Springs, Missouri.
The U.S. Marshal Service is investigating the case.
