Joan Wight Meyer, 98, passed away August 12, 2023 in Marion.
She was born May 23, 1925 in Marion to Ollie and Mercil (Thompson) Wight. She married Bill Meyer September 11, 1949 in Marion. She was Vice President and Associate Publisher of the Marion Record. Survivors include: son, Eric Meyer of Marion; 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Bill Meyer.
Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Valley United Methodist Church in Marion officiated by Rev. Ron DeVore. Interment Saturday at the Marion cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Church.
