Area students will have an opportunity this summer to complete driver’s education through a program offered by Buhler USD 313.
The USD 313 Summer Driver’s Education course will run June 1 through June 30, with online coursework completed during that time and behind-the-wheel driving scheduled throughout June and July.
The program is open to all area students, not just those enrolled in Buhler USD 313 Schools.
To participate, students must be at least 14 years old and must either already have a valid instructional permit or take the permit test through the program.
According to program information, the course will feature fully online classroom instruction, allowing students to complete coursework from anywhere. Participants will also receive private driving instruction as part of the program.
Enrollment forms are available in school offices at Buhler High School, Prairie Hills Middle School, Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson Middle School–8, Trinity Catholic Jr/Sr High School, and Central Christian School.
