Roger L. Crabill, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2023 Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. He was born June 8, 1955, in Pratt, KS to Robert L. and Joyce J. (Scarbrough) Crabill.
In 1973, Roger graduated from Pratt High School. On November 15, 1980, Roger married Janet S. Cook in Pratt, KS. He was a bowling lane resurfacing manager for Jayhawk Bowling Supply and Resurfacing for 40 years. Roger enjoyed golfing, bowling and teasing his nieces and nephews. In August 2020, Roger miraculously survived a brain aneurysm. In February 2022, he was diagnosed with lung cancer and courageously fought the disease for a year and a half. He was a member of Crosspoint Church in Hutchinson, Elks Lodge in Pratt, and USBC.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Christopher Dean McCawley.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; three sisters, Shirley Kimmons, Belinda (Duane) Fischer and Penny (Mal) McCawley; one brother, Bill (Carolyn) McQuiston; brother-in-law, J.C. (Lou Jean) Cook four nieces, Kimberly Phoenix, Katie Janik, Amy McCawley and Shannon Cook; and two nephews, Darin Fischer and Jake Elder; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
