HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The formal charges filed against former Hutchinson police officer Todd Allen include 17 felonies and seven more misdemeanors.
Allen was arrested Wednesday afternoon and is charged with two counts of rape or alternative counts of aggravated sexual battery. Three counts of attempted rape or alternative counts of aggravated sexual battery, two more counts of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated indecent liberties with a child, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of attempted aggravated sexual battery. The two counts of rape are level one person felonies.
Allen also faces five counts of breach of privacy and two misdemeanor counts of sexual battery. He is currently free on a $250,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 21.
