HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The next Dillon Lecture Series is Tuesday starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Sports Arena.
The speaker will be Amanda Knox who is an exoneree, journalist, public speaker and author of the New York Times best-selling memoir, “Waiting to Be Heard."
Between 2007 and 2015, she spent nearly four years in an Italian prison and eight years on trial for a murder she didn’t commit. Knox now works to shed light on the issues of wrongful conviction, truth seeking, and public shaming, and to inspire people towards empathy and perspective.
Tickets are $10. Students and school groups are admitted free of charge with a school ID. Tickets are available online www.hutchcc.edu/dls or at the Arena on the day of the lecture.
