
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Board of County Commissioners will consider on Wednesday whether or not to work with a television producer to promote Reno County.
According to agenda documents, Chairman Randy Parks and County Administrator Randy Partington talked with Viewpoint two weeks ago.
The company chooses specific industries that they highlight to produce a short video that will be shown across the country or a specific region on public television. Chairman Parks and Randy Partington will meet with the chamber regarding the possibility of this project to have further thoughts on this project prior to this commission meeting.
Funding for the viewpoint project would be from the economic development incentives fund as a piece of marketing that was mentioned at the Mayors of Reno County meeting earlier this year.
