HUTCHINSON, Kan. —It has become a tradition on the days before school starts in the area. The Hutchinson Community College School of Cosmetology offered free haircuts to students on Monday.

Students were lined up outside the door waiting for their turn as the school performed more than 250 free haircuts.

The free haircuts started as part of the school backpack promotion for First Call for Help and has been going ever since.
