
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Dragons used five made threes in the third quarter to break away from Coffeyville Wednesday night in the Sports Arena.
Mya Williams knocked down three of her total four in the contest during a third-quarter explosion that put Hutchinson on top for good.
Hutchinson (10-3, 4-3) snapped a two-game skid by outscoring the Red Ravens 27-13 in the third frame.
Williams finished with 25 points in 25 minutes after scoring just seven at the half on 1 of 6 shooting from distance.
Morgan Browning (12) and Monae Duffy (10) also scored in double figures.
Hutchinson had at least one triple per quarter, but went 5 of 8 in the third to take the lead after trailing by as many as nine with just three minutes gone in the second half.
Hutchinson scored 24 points on 24 Coffeyville (9-4, 5-2) turnovers.
