
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 Board of Education heard from Rise Up Reno during the program highlight segment at Monday's regularly-scheduled meeting.
Three Hutchinson High School students spoke about the activities they are involved with as a part of the Youth Leadership Group, as well as why they believe community-led drug and alcohol prevention is important.
Rise Up Reno Prevention Network is a drug and alcohol youth prevention coalition within Reno County. The organization focuses on youth leadership within both Hutchinson middle schools, and Hutchinson High School. Rise Up Reno also has school-based mentoring opportunities for community members that want to get involved in their mission.

Approved gifts to schools
Denied both Contract Releases on agenda
Approved suspension extensions
Discussed USD 308 data during Study Session
