NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 Board of Education meets Monday evening.
The board will first go into executive session regarding non-elected personnel before returning to the agenda portion of the meeting.
The board will go over several personnel matters, get a report on the track and seek approval of the new board meeting schedule for the next fiscal year, which starts July 1.
The board will also take time to discuss what direction the district could go in regard to a bond issue. The last attempt to pass a $29 million facilities improvement bond issue failed by more than a 2-1 margin.
There has been some talk about taking another attempt to pass a bond issue that would make improvements to the district's facilities.
Monday’s meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the school district offices at 4501 W. 4th Ave.
