In May 2023, she relocated to Hutchinson to be closer to her son, Bill. Betsy lived at Wesley Towers, and enjoyed making new friends, taking part in activities, and receiving the care she needed.
In 1959, she married William W. Willm. They were blessed with the birth of their son, Bill. In 1975, Betsy married Gene Sterns. Despite both marriages ending in divorce, Betsy became a stronger and more independent woman.
