
Leander "Lee" H. Borntrager passed away on January 2, 2023, at Hospice House. He was born on December 23, 1927, in Yoder, KS to Harvey and Lena (Keim) Borntrager.
Lee owned Lee Borntrager’s Cycle Repair in Buhler for over 40 years. He loved motorcycle racing, guitar playing, and horses.
He married Ruby F. Isbell on October 15, 1955, in Hutch, and the two were married for over 67 years.
Lee is survived by: wife, Ruby Borntrager, Hutchinson; daughters, Vickie Jander (Bill), Grapevine, Texas, Kay Borntrager-Clark (Guy), Hutchinson; grandchildren, Randee McCoy, Danyelle Flowers, Charles Eldridge, and Brandon Clark; great-grandchildren, Tatton, Terra, Lexi, Mackenzie, and Chloe; and extended step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Ada Eash (Perry), Haven.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
