SALINE COUNTY —A Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper has arrested a man accused of rape.
According to the Salina Police Department, a warrant was issued for 50-year-old Jonathan Engholm of Kansas City, who reportedly committed a forcible sexual act against a woman at a south Salina home in December 2025. The incident was reported on December 11.
A Kansas Highway Patrol Trooper arrested Engholm was arrested on Monday. He is being held on requested charges of Aggravated criminal sodomy; With person/animal by force and Rape; Sexual intercourse without consent and use of force, according to online jail records.
