GODDARD, Kan. — Tanganyika Wildlife Park Director Matt Fouts on Tuesday made two announcements regarding Tanganyika Wildlife Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
“Our family has always had deep love for animals,” said Fouts, “and we have enjoyed sharing our passion for animal preservation with those who visit our wildlife park. Today I am happy to announce that Tanganyika Wildlife Foundation has named its 2023/2024 Board of Directors, and a new Chief Growth Officer who will oversee the Park’s marketing and the Foundation’s day-to-day operations.”
New Board officers are Jamie Harrison, Chair; Nate Hampel, Vice Chair; and Andrew Warby, Secretary/Treasurer. Other Directors named to three-year terms are Matt Fouts, Meg Gammage-Tucker, and Summer Williams.
Steve Schaumburg, a veteran marketing, communications, and fundraising executive, will serve as Tanganyika Wildlife Park & Foundation’s new Chief Growth Officer. He was previously a fundraiser for The Nature Conservancy, a Vice President of Marketing and Communications for a Fortune 500 healthcare services company, and an advertising agency executive.
Tanganyika Wildlife Foundation focuses on raising awareness and funding for animal preservation and education projects both at Tanganyika Wildlife Park and at other animal-focused organizations.
