HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 Board of Education will seek action on a partnership agreement with Jobs for America’s Graduates-Kansas organization during Monday’s meeting.

JAG-K is a nonprofit corporation that receives program and financial support from corporate and foundation contributions. The program is used to help at-risk students remain in school and help them attain the basic employability skills through career-based learning experience.

The program helps students for all four years of high school along with a 12-month follow-up.

Also Monday, the board will go over the purchase of a new rooftop HVAC unit for the kitchen at a cost of just over $31,000 and sign a contract agreement with Cindy Flores for translation services.

Monday's meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Career and Technical Education Academy at 800 15th Circle.
