HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Are you a super smart CEO or an alien 'brainiac' from the planet Colu? Then test your comic book knowledge at Reno County Museum's Superhero Trivia Night at Salt City Brewing Co. on June 13.

Reno County Museum is hosting this Superhero Trivia Night to raise funds for renovations.

"We are wanting new display cases and carpet, are the big two at the moment," Brianna Buller, Reno County Museum event coordinator, said. "Its time for a facelift."

Money raised from the trivia night will also go toward the Reno County Museum's upcoming exhibit projects.

"Our curator has a goal of creating a comprehensive, chronological history of Reno County," Buller said. "This is just a step to better the museum so we can tell that story."

According to Buller, Reno County Museum Curator David Reed is working on an exhibit highlighting Reno County communities in the 21st century.

Another future exhibit is said to focus on impactful women of Reno County.

To participate in the trivia night, there is a suggested donation of $10 per team to play.

Additionally, Salt City Brewing Co., is making a themed specialty drink with some of the proceeds going to the museum.

The museum will also be opening a Smallville exhibit on Thursday, June 8. The exhibit will close on June 17.

"We have cosplay items, such as a Superman suit on display and other items from local collectors in Reno County," Buller said. "We also have original artwork. All of this is to tell the story of Smallville."

Superhero Trivia Night is open to the public. Reservations are not necessary at the brewery unless you want to save your spot for trivia.

Superhero Trivia Night at Salt City Brewing Co., located at 514 N. Main St. in Hutchinson, will begin at 7 p.m.

View the Smallville exhibit and other exhibits at the Reno County Museum located at 100 S. Walnut St. in Hutchinson.
