HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (EMKF) have launched Heartland Together, a program to encourage local business growth in towns and cities across the American heartland. Reno County has been chosen as a pilot community for this program.
The first step of this work is to better understand the persistent challenges in the support system around entrepreneurs. To do this, KLC and EMKF are hosting a Diagnosis Event on Tuesday, September 19.
The purpose of this event is to learn more about the adaptive challenges Reno County faces in supporting entrepreneurship, create a network map of Reno County’s entrepreneurship support network and consider which community members should be participants in the pilot program that will launch on November 14-16, 2023.
