Donald Earl “Don” Moody, 59, died August 17, 2026, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born September 17, 1966, in Crestview, FL, to Donald R. “Don” and Phyllis A. (Imel) Moody.

Don was a 1985 graduate of Buhler High School. He married Andra S. Annis in March of 1990 and they were married for over 20 years. Don worked for over 30 years as a butcher for Dillon’s and Jackson’s Meat. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and loved to go fishing at Cheney Lake.

Don is survived by: his children, Garrett (Brandon) Moody, of Minneapolis, MN, Rachel (Chase) Guisinger, of Hutchinson; His former wife and mother of his children, Andra Moody of Hutchinson; grandsons, Camdyn and Kayce Guisinger of Hutchinson; father, Donald R. “Don” Moody of Hutchinson; siblings, Joleen (Dallas) Schwartz of Hutchinson, Lori (Jeff) Moore of Basehor, KS, Gregory (Louanne) Moody of Pineville, KY; seven nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis A. Moody.

Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Dillon Nature Center, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. To benefit the Dillon Nature Center, please make the check payable to the Hutchinson Recreation Commission, with Dillon Nature Center on the memo line.
