Christina Lynn (Moody) Radtke, 68 passed away November 8, 2022 at St. Luke Living Center after a three year battle with cancer.

Chris was born February 14, 1954 to Martie and Virgie (Orram) Moody in Newton. The family lived in Moundridge, then moved to Florence in 1965 before settling on the family farm east of Marion in 1967. She met Bud Radtke a year after she graduated from Marion High School in 1972, and they were married in Salina, on July 30, 1977. The couple later purchased the family farm east of Marion where they raised their children, Travis, Traci and Trent.

Chris worked at the Florence nursing home for 29 years until the facility closed, after which she worked at Casey’s General Store in Marion for 15 years. She made the Best Pizzas Ever! As a side job for 40 years she sold Avon. Chris enjoyed reading, sewing, collecting, and visiting casinos. She had a love for all animals. She enjoyed her birds, rabbits, chickens, ducks, lambs and dogs. But her greatest love was for her grandkids- she adored them all and would do anything for them.

Chris is survived by her sons Travis (Amy) Radtke, Trent (Robyn) Radtke, daughter Traci (Aaron) Helmer all of Marion. Grandkids Morgan Radtke Jenna and Wyatt Helmer, Quinn, Dexter and Lincoln Radtke. One Brother Kim (Carolyn) Moody of Ulysses, and three sisters Cheri Thompson of Eudora, Konnie Hamilton of Loomis, California, Cindy (Mark) Naff of Lawrence. Many nieces and nephews, many cousins and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Bud Radtke, her parents Martie Moody and Virgie (Pete) Haggerty and her brother John Moody.

Celebration of Life Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall in the Marion Christian Church officiated by Rev.
