BUTLER COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 5:30p.m. Friday in Butler County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Honda Civic driven by Antione Chadwick Dorsey, Jr., 30, Wichita, was northbound on Interstate 35/ Kansas Turnpike south of the U.S. 77 exit. The driver lost control of the car. The vehicle traveled off the road, rolled and three passengers were ejected.
Dejuanique S. Edmondson, 27, Concordia, was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Kirby Morris Funeral Home.
EMS transported Dorsey and two other passengers John Michael Aggson,26, and Laron Jens Dass, Jr., 30, both of Wichita, to Wesley Medical Center. Only the driver was wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
