HUTCHINSON, Kan. — It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our chairman, Keith Hughes after 15 years serving as either CEO or Chairman; and 40 years with First National Bank.

After this time with the bank and a 44-year working career, Keith has been looking forward to having more time for family, volunteer work and other business interests.

“Over this very long career I have been blessed with very talented, hard-working team members that made my job easier and enjoyable. I wish I could thank everyone by name for the times we worked together. I am very proud of the current leadership team at the bank that I had a hand in assembling; and am confident with their leadership going forward,” Hughes said.

Throughout Keith’s tenure, he has been an exceptional and consistent leader for the bank’s growth, earnings and financial soundness. Particularly, Keith is proud of the efforts to become one of the most respected banks in the state and nationally recognized as one of the top 1% healthiest banks in the nation.

On behalf of First National Bank, we extend our deepest gratitude to Keith for his many years of leadership, dedication and contribution to our bank, community, and industry.

While we will miss him as our chairman, we are excited for the opportunities and time for other interests in his future.

Please join us in congratulating Keith and expressing appreciation for the many years of dedicated service.
