
Helen Anzo, 85, of Eureka, Kansas, formerly of South Hutchinson, Kansas passed away December 29, 2024, at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, Kansas.
She was born August 16, 1939, in Nochistlan, Zac. Mexico to Manuel and Freda Duran of Pretty Prairie, Kansas.
She graduated from Pretty Prairie High School and attended Hutchinson Community College and Salt City Business College.
She worked for Kenny's Electric and later work for KSIR (HCF) and was promoted as the first female Master Sargent for KSIR (HCF) where she retired.
She was married to Delfino (Tony) Anzo for 48 years.
She is survived by four children; Frank (Anita) Anzo of Temecula, CA, Yvonne (Dave) Sawyer of Hutchinson, KS, James (Kai) Anzo of Thailand and Teresa Foulk of Hutchinson, KS. Eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tony, parents Manuel and Freda Duran, son Anthony, sister Vera Andres, brothers Salvador, Albert, Manuel Jr., and Ruben David.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 5-8PM at Old Mission Heritage. Rosary to be held the following morning, January 9, 2025, at 10:00AM with mass immediately following at 10:30AM both at St. Teresa Catholic Church 211 E 5th Ave Hutchinson, KS 67501. Interment at Fairlawn Cemetery to follow.
