BUHLER, Kan. — Numerous personnel matters were taken up by the Buhler USD 313 School Board during a special meeting Tuesday night.
The board took action on three licensed staff and four classified staff resignations along with the resignation of two supplemental staff. The board also approved a number of hirings and transfers Tuesday night as well.
Also Tuesday, the board approved a memorandum of understanding for Wichita Public Schools to transport any students in USD 313 to either the Kansas School for the Blind or the Kansas School for the Deaf in Kansas City. Currently, USD 313 has one such student.
Finally, the board met for about two hours to discuss its strategic planning and goal setting with a representative from the Kansas Association of School Boards.
