HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Open Door Health Services is holding a ribbon cutting Tuesday, April 4 at 11:30 a.m. Open Door is celebrating the new partnership with Hutchinson Community College and the new services they will be providing.
The mobile unit will be in the Student Union Parking Lot at HutchCC.
The mobile unit is now on campus every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., parked in the Student Union parking lot, to provide all of the services provided at the center, right there on the mobile unit, with an emphasis on free STI testing.
A person can get tested on a Tuesday at the mobile unit, and then one week later, they can come back to the mobile unit where Open Door will have the results. If the test is positive, the free treatment will be available right there on the mobile unit. The student won't have to travel to a pharmacy or anything like that. All of that is free.
Call Open Door for more information at (620) 728-2229.
