HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday will consider an extension to the moratorium on Commercial Solar Energy Project development that was due to expire at the end of the month.
Though the process is mostly complete, there is still more to be done by the planning commission, and so the proposal is to extend the moratorium until December 1, but if the planning commission gets its work done before then, the board could take it back up to remove it sooner.
The Board of County Commissioners meets Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the Veterans Room at the Reno County Courthouse.
