
WABAUNSEE COUNTY , Kan. — The McPherson County Sheriff's Department and Newton Police were a part of a three-day special operation in Wabaunsee County that targeted major criminals and resulted in multiple arrests.
In addition to the arrests, there were several cases where large amounts of narcotics were seized according to a news release. As a result over 120 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of over $4,400,000, were seized.

Along with local law enforcement the agencies that participated included the Wabaunsee County Sheriff's Office, Osage County Sheriff's Office, Junction City Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff Tip Line, Salina Police, Dickinson County Sheriff's Office, Cloud County Sheriff's Department, Marion County Sheriff's Office, Pratt Police Department, Rossville Police Department, Clarke County Sheriffs and the Department of Homeland Security.
