Rick Euliss, age 64, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Thursday, April 13, 2023,
in Haskell County, Kansas. He was born April 9, 1959, in Dodge City,
Kansas, the son of Paul and Willetta “Billie” (Morris) Euliss.
Rick grew up in West Plains, Missouri, and Satanta, Kansas. He married
Lori Parks on October 18, 1980, in Ulysses. Rick enjoyed his work in
the oilfield, working for Dowell, Mobil, BP and most recently Linn
Energy as a production Supervisor. He was currently driving a truck for
El Dorado Trucking. Rick enjoyed fishing, camping and was a great
cook. He loved spending time with his family, especially his kids and
grandkids.
Rick is survived by his wife, Lori of their home; children, Reanna Ramos
and husband David of Amarillo, Texas, Micah Euliss-Torres and husband
Armando of Ulysses, Donna Olivas and husband Refugio of Johnson, Preston
Euliss of Ulysses, Lisa Boyce and husband Vincent of Las Vegas, Nevada,
and Meagan Martinez and husband Chris of Hutchinson, Kansas; brothers,
Paul Euliss, Jr. and wife Marilyn of Elmwood, Oklahoma; Kyle Euliss and
wife Kellie of Ulysses, and John Euliss and wife Kendra of Ulysses; 13
grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and his dog and co-pilot,
Chael.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Billie Euliss.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the
Oasis Church in Ulysses with Pastor Andy McMillan officiating.
Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery. Visitation will be
Monday, April 17, 2023, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral
Home in Ulysses.
