ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas theft suspect.
On April 4, police arrested 34-year-old Allan L. Copeland, Jr. of Atchison, for theft that occurred at Walmart, 1920 U.S .73, in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson. The crimes occurred between December 9, 2025 and January 28, 2026. Taken to County Jail.
He was also issued a notice to appear in court for criminal trespass at Walmart, 1920 U.S. 73, that occurred on April 3.
