GREAT BEND, Kan. — Aaron Franklin's double-double powered Hutchinson Community College (6-0) past Wilbur Wright College despite 44 points from Donald McCurdy.
McCurdy hit 13 of his 16 triples, but went 0 for 3 inside the arc.
Franklin dropped 22 points and pulled down 10 boards.
Jayden Garrison just missed a double-double with his 18 points and nine rebounds.
Hutchinson made good on only 8 of 45 triples (17.8%) but shot the ball 35 more times than Wilbur Wright.

No. 6 Hutchinson is home Nov. 16 to open conference play against Independence.
