Marjorie Ann Loewen (Marge) born December 11, 1930, passed from this life August 11, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend, and a sweet, gentle caring soul.
Marge was born December 11, 1930, in Moundridge, KS, the daughter of Lewis and Emma Bender.
She was a faithful longtime member of Eastwood Church of Christ.
On December 31, 1955, Marge married John K Loewen in Moundridge. They had 66 years together prior to John sadly passing away on October 25, 2022.
Marge is survived by: her three daughters, Debbie Wilson of Hutchinson, Diane Farney (Rudy) of Hutchinson, Donna McCoy (Kent) of Granby, CO; grandchildren, Brian Wilson, Jeni Perko (Jack), Ami Ratzlaff (Tanner), Julie McNeil (Brett) and Megan DeCorte (Chris); 15 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Darrel Bender.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Loewen; parents, Lewis and Emma Bender; grandson, Kyle McCoy, sister, Irene Banman; and brother, Robert Bender.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in West Zion Cemetery, Moundridge. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The casket will remain closed.
