NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson City Council will go over two proposals for a cemetery groundskeeper position during its regular meeting on Monday.

The city is looking for a sexton to trim trees at the cemetery along with trimming grass and mowing the grounds. The contractor will also be in charge of cleaning monuments and resetting them. The position also includes setting flags for Memorial Day and raising flags for memorial services when asked by the city.

Also Monday, the council will go over changes to the personnel manual and go over a quote for software upgrades.

Monday’s Nickerson City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Nickerson city offices at 15 N. Nickerson St.
