HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutch Rec is looking for lifeguards again this year for the Salt City Splash.
Lifeguard training will be available in four sessions with the first slated for April 8-11, then April 15-18, June 1-3 and June 3-5.
Classes are blended, which means that a portion of the class is done online with the rest being in-person training at the pool. The cost is $215 and all Salt City Splash lifeguards will be reimbursed for the entire cost of the class if they remain employed through the season.
Deadline to register for the first class is April 8. For more information or to register, stop by the Hutchinson YMCA or go online to hutchymca.com.
