
Jeremy David “J.J.” Johnson, 35, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was born on September 24, 1988 in Brighton, Colorado to David R. and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Johnson.
J.J. graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 2007. He later attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Arizona.
J.J. had worked at Pfizer in McPherson for 10 years.
He enjoyed spending his time riding motorcycles, working on computers and gaming. Above all, J.J. loved spending time with his son, Jackson.
J.J. is survived by his son, Jackson Ray Johnson, of Wichita; mother, Liz Johnson of Moundridge; brother, Brent (Stephanie) Johnson of Aurora, CO and their children, Treyton, Zane, and Warner; sisters, Deanna Johnson (Mike Halbert) of Aurora, CO and their son, Dylan, and Megan Hill of Moundridge and her children, Brylie and Braylan. He is also survived by his very close friends, Jordin Smith, Steven Blaylock, Nate Martens, and Zach Vytlacil; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, David R. Johnson; maternal grandparents, Walter and Amy Mitchell; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Marlene Johnson; and uncles, Ed Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell, and Ted Bethell.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, October 7, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Private Graveside Services will be held at Mound Township Cemetery.
