Linda Kay Garcia, age 66, of Derby, Kansas passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Clark and Maxine (Taylor) Hayden. She was a 1976 graduate from Valley Center High School. After graduation she worked for Cudahy Meat Packing and Learjet.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard Mathis.
Linda is survived by her brothers Bill (Victoria) Hayden of Valley Center, Ks, Dale Hayden of Ada, Ok; her sisters Mary (Tom) Steinkirchner of Valley Center, Marsha (Lonnie) Tormey of Valley Center, sister-in-law Stella Mathis of Wichita, Ks; nieces and nephews Tiffany Gaydos, Tara Johansen, Carmon Davidson, Crystal Turner, Drew Hayden, Wil Hayden, Angela Steinkirchner, TJ Steinkirchner, Darrick Steinkirchner, Jill Cooper and Chad Tormey; 22 great nieces and nephews; other family and friends.
A Private Service was held and a Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
