HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man was arrested Sunday afternoon for drug distribution near Faris Elementary School.
Police arrested 36-year-old Brandon Smith at his home in the 400 block of East 12th Avenue on suspicion of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Smith is being held on a $36,000 bond. Formal charges are expected to be filed later this week.
