Margaret Dulsie Packebush, 97, died January 28, 2023, at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler. She was born October 7, 1925, in Hutchinson, to Albert William and Evea Dulsie (Lisman) Oliver.
Margaret retired as an administrative assistant at First Call for Help on January 31, 1995. After retirement, she enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, and embroidering. Margaret was a former member of V.F.W. Bob Campbell Post #1361 Ladies Auxiliary, and was of the Methodist faith.
On May 23, 1959, she married Charles Packebush, in Newton. He died January 1978. Margaret then married James Ray Ewing on December 8, 1995. He died September 20, 2016.
Margaret is survived by: children, Larry Morton (Georgia), Von Morton (Sheryl), Vickie Mackey (Lee), Linda Hippen, and Eva Bass, all of Hutchinson; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by: her parents; sister, Nellie Reusser; daughters, Donna Morton and Melody Magerfleisch; grandsons, Ralph Mena, Jr. and Shawn Mackey; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Hippen, Madison Hippen, and Isabella Perez.
Graveside service will 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 West 4th Avenue, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, with the family to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
