HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson USD 308 may have its new Public Information Officer in place by the end of the month.
Executive Director of Human Resources Rick Kraus says they will be interviewing six possible candidates for the job via virtual meetings this week. The hope is to narrow that field down to two or three finalists and then conduct those interviews in-person next week.
Since there is just one meeting scheduled this month, Kraus says the district may entertain holding a short special meeting to take action for the person of choice.
That person would replace Ray Hemman, who is retiring at the end of June.
