Raechell Dyanne (Christopher) Swanson, 25, entered Heaven’s Gates on June 21, 2023. She was born April 16, 1998, in Wichita, to Dale and Mary Jane (Turpen) Christopher.
Raechell graduated from Hutchinson High School in 2015. She was an outgoing, loving, caring, passionate and classy young lady. Raechell loved helping the older generation. She especially loved helping her grandmother, Susan, with her daily errands. They both enjoyed spending time together, and Raechell took this as one of her greatest responsibilities.
After helping with her grandmother, Susan, Raechell wanted to pursue her career as a CNA. During her short career, Raechell worked at Diversicare, Hutch Health and Rehab, Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Pleasant View Home, and Disability Supports of the Great Plains. Known as Ms. Popular by her family, Raechell had a genuinely kind heart, and she wouldn’t hesitate to help people in any way she could.
On February 7, 2022, she married Jamal Daray Swanson, Sr.
Raechell is survived by: Husband, Jamal D. Swanson, Sr.; Son, Jamal D. Swanson, Jr.; her mother, Mary Jane “Janie” Skinner; and a sister, Chloe Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Susan Colladay Perkins.
