NICKERSON, Kan. — Nickerson USD 309 has a vacancy on its school board.
The board is accepting letters of interest from community members who would like to be considered for the vacant position. The board member who fills the vacancy will serve through January 2024. The applications will be reviewed and candidates will be interviewed at the Aug. 23 school board meeting.
Qualified applicants must be a voter in the district, not an employee of the district and reside in Position #3-Reno Valley. Applications must be turned in by Thursday, Aug. 19, at noon.
Interested applicants can fill out a Board of Education Candidate Questionnaire by contacting the USD 309 Board Clerk at 620-663-7141 or emailing krohling@usd309ks.org no later than Aug. 16.
