HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After less than an ideal performance on Tuesday, Indian River showed their full potential on Wednesday as they throttled Southern Idaho 94-82 in the round of 16 at the NJCAA National Tournament.

Indian River was able to score at will by shooting 13 three's in the game and shooting 56% from the field. Abdoulaye Thiam led the way with 23 points and Linton Brown added another 22.

CSI which goes home after one game got 22 points from Maurice Barnett and 15 from Tsotne Tsartsidze. CSI shot 42% from the field and out rebounded the Pioneers but simply could not overcome the hot shooting from Indian River. The pioneers move on to the quarterfinals Thursday where they take on Chipola.

Southern Idaho ends the season at 21-5.
