HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Charges have been filed against a 30-year-old Hutchinson man in a rape case in Reno County.
According to court filings, Anthony O Krause is alleged to have had sex with a child under 14 on May 11th and to have committed aggravated indecent liberties with that same child on May 17th.
Krause is also accused of soliciting the same person for the unlawful act on the 8th of May and to attempt to persuade the person to commit such an act on that same date.
The rape and indecent liberties counts as charged are off-grid felonies, potentially punishable by a hard 50 sentence, which would be a mandatory 50 years in prison.
Krause's next court appearance is November 30 and he is jailed on $325,000 bond.
